I’m Maya (she/her) and I am an EMC/SAG eligible actor based in Seattle & Chicago.
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and in 2021, I graduated from the BFA Musical Theatre program at Indiana University.
I grew up in a family of storytellers. Some of my earliest memories are of quests with my cousins to uncover hidden mysteries and to battle the day’s villain. My playacting eventually evolved into a love of theatre for its capacity to mimic life and help us become stronger, better individuals. As an actor, I continually strive to use my voice to tell the stories that need to be told; stories that celebrate diversity and inclusion in the magical, theatrical realm where anything is possible.
My friends call me a “professional napper,” but I also enjoy hiking in the Pacific Northwest, making charcuterie boards, listening to true crime podcasts, and staying up to date on as many TV shows as humanly possible.
